ePreventPsych

Digital strategies for prevention of psychosis and its consequences.

Description

ePreventPsych originates from a European consortium that brings together some of the leading experts in preventive psychiatry, focusing on risk states for psychosis and bipolar disorder. Winner of a PNRR grant, the project aims to validate three clinical prediction models developed in Europe, testing their effectiveness in real-world settings. These algorithms are primarily designed to improve the early identification of individuals at risk of developing psychosis, bipolar disorder, and metabolic syndrome associated with the early stages of psychosis. In the long term, the research seeks to introduce digital decision-support tools into both primary and specialized healthcare services, facilitating the early detection of psychosis and enabling proactive management of mental and physical health risks.
